Al Zayani Investments WLL Clinch Caltex Football Cup
 

AL ZAYANI Investments notched the Caltex Companies and Establishments Football Cup for the first time after defeating Municipality 2-1 in the final at the Isa Town Stadium. It was a sweet victory as Al Zayani sealed the triumph in the last three minutes through their striker Saleh Mahdi.

Captained by Group Managing Director Mr. Zayed Al Zayani, it was a great season for AlZayani Investments which will go down in the history of the AZI Football Team. The match was watched by Mr. Khalid R. Alzayani – Chairman, Mr. Hamid R. Alzayani – Vice Chairman, Mr. Nawaf K. Alzayani – DMD and Mr. Abdulrahman Hamid Alzayani.

The match was held under the patronage of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports vice-president and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Isa bin Rashid Al Khalifa who presented the trophy to the captain Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani.

Also present was Companies and Establishments Football League organizing committee chairman Mr. Mazin Al Omran who thanked Shaikh Isa for patronizing the match and congratulated the Al Zayani team on their victory.
