During the Holy Month of Ramadan, Euro Motors partnered with The Dreams Society in the Kingdom of Bahrain to bring joy to children affected by debilitating or terminal illnesses.
The collaboration with Euro Motors is part of the Society’s ‘30 Dreams in 30 Days’ challenge and sees the BMW importer for Bahrain sponsoring two children during the Holy Month – each with their own unique wish - to ensure they put a smile on their faces.
The first was Fatima N, a 16 year old girl who suffers from Sickle Cell Anemia and is an avid fan of photography. With dreams of being a professional car photographer, Euro Motors arranged a professional automotive photographer Mohammed Fakhruddin, BIC Media Club President and owner of Golden Lens, to mentor Fatima and teach her about the different angles and ways to photograph a car to capture a perfect shot.
Paul Yates, General Manager of Euro Motors said: “Giving back to the community is an important part of Euro Motors business model. We consistently try to engage with the community at large and support initiatives that contribute to the wellbeing of others. The Dreams Society was the ideal partner for this initiative as we were able to directly interact with the children and help better their lives.”
The Dreams Society is a charity serving Bahrain with the mission of bringing joy to the lives of children affected by debilitating or terminal illness such as cancer, cystic fibrosis, cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy. The charity’s mission is to work with organisations to make children's treasured dreams come true.
Aysha Fakhro, Vice Chairman of The Dreams Society added: “At The Dreams Society, we believe that children who are ill should have the same opportunity to experience joy and delight as all children. Euro Motors support in the ‘30 Dreams in 30 Days’ challenge is allowing us to fulfil dreams day by day. Fatima had an extraordinary day at Euro Motors being mentored by a professional car photographer and the company were also generous to give another child, Nasser, an electric MINI car. We owe that to the helpful team at Euro Motors.”
