Louise Robertson once again won first place in a special Ramadan night golf tournament on Tuesday 3rd Oct 2006 evening staged at Riffa Golf Club. The event was sponsored by Zayani Motors and followed on from a similar tournament the week before which was sponsored by Zayani Leasing. Robertson scored 22 points to win the first event and again achieved 22 points in this week’s competition. Mike Crandell came second with 20 points on count back and Young Jun Noh was third, also on 20 points. Olive Wagstaff and Brian Gray won additional prizes for coming nearest to the pin on holes 13 and 16 respectively.

Sales manager, Nick Phillips, presented prizes to the winners in Riffa’s club house after the tournament.

“We are delighted with the success of these two events,” said Phillips. “Both were fully subscribed with around 60 players competing in each. In addition to providing some exciting prizes to the winners, Zayani Motors was able to use this evening’s event as an opportunity to show case some of the newest Mitsubishi models to a high end segment of the Bahrain community. We look forward to working with Riffa Golf Club again in the near future.”
