Al
Zayani Group Supports Political Empowerment Programme
As part of the
support of Al Zayani Investment Group for the programmes and
activities of the Supreme Council for Women, Mr. Khalid Rashid
Al Zayani, Al Zayani Investment Group Chairman presented a
Hyundai car from First Motors, the Hyundai authorized agents
in the Kingdom of Bahrain in support of the Political
Empowerment Programme sponsored by the Supreme Council for
Women.The move is for encouraging the SCW efforts to enable
women to become members of the National Assembly.
 Mr. Khalid
Al Zayani praised the SCW for its efforts under the leadership
of Her Highness Shaikha Sabika bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa, wife of
His Majesty the King and Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for
Women in support of Bahraini women. He noted that Bahraini women
were worthy of this recognition considering that they joined
hands with men in the progress and growth of the country. He
added that such support is a national duty that is sought by all
groups in the community for backing and supporting the blessed
recommendations of His Majesty the King’s reform scheme.
The presentation
took place during a meeting between HE Mrs. Lulwa Al Awadhi, SCW
Secretary General and Mr. Khalid Rashid Al Zayani, Zayani
Investment Group Chairman, Mr. Zayed Rashid Al Zayani, Group’s
Managing Director and Mr. George Al Bizri, General Manager of
First Motors at the offices of the SCW General Secretariat.
