Labour Fund visit Al Zayani Investments
The Minister of
State for Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Labour Fund Dr.
Nazar bin Sadiq Al Baharna, paid a visit to Al Zayani
Investments premises in the Diplomatic area on Tuesday 15th Jan
2008 where he was received by the Chairman Mr. Khalid Rashid Al
Zayani and Vice-Chairman Mr. Hamed Rashid Al Zayani.
Dr. Al Baharna was also accompanied
by Vice-Chairman Sharif Ahmadi, the Acting Chief Executive of
the Labour Fund Mr. Abdulellah Al Qassimi, the Marketing
Communications Manager Ms. Hala Suleiman. Also attending were
Mr. Nawaf Khalid Al Zayani Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Abdul
Rahman Hamed Al Zayani, Board member and the Group Human
Resources and Administration Manager Mr. Mahmood Baqer Habib.
Dr. Baharna
reviewed the Labour Fund’s strategy outlining the programs and
initiatives launched to support human capital development and
the private sector. Mr. Khalid Al
Zayani expressed his appreciation for the visit of the Labour
Fund team and stressed that receiving such high-level visits
reflects pragmatism and the interest of the government through
the Labour Fund in the members of the private sector. He stated
that investors and businessmen should be provided with all the
necessary facilities and infrastructure that would help Bahrain
develop and that unnecessary politics or bureaucracy should be
avoided in order to maintain investors in the Kingdom of
Bahrain.

Zayani Motors Give Mitsubishi Outlander as Grand prize
for Charity Raffle (Cherry Tree Trot)
Zayani Motors,
Bahrain’s exclusive dealers for Mitsubishi Motors, donated a
Mitsubishi Outlander to the American Women’s Association (AWA)
primary fund raiser-Cherry Tree Trot 2008. The car, which is
equally sponsored by Zayani Motors and Intercol, was awarded to
the winner as the first prize in a raffle draw at the event,
which was held on 29th February 2008 at the Bahrain
International Circuit (BIC). The funds raised from this event
were donated to various charities across the kingdom of Bahrain.
Zayani Motors
also gave away tickets for the event to staff and potential
customers who visited their Sitra showroom for test-driving a
Mitsubishi.
