Al Zayani Investments Team Runner-up at Calttex Cup 2007

Al Zayani Investments soccer team was the runner-up in the Caltex Cup 2007 tournament after having lost in the final match against the Municipalities Affairs team. This match was a revenge for the latter after having lost to Zayani Investments 2-1 in the final match of the Caltex Cup 2005. Zayani Investments team efficiently qualified for the final match after having beaten the ASRY team, last year’s tournament winner, after a penalty shootout 4-3 after having drawn in the original match time.

Al Zayani Investments Team Champion of Silver Square at Companies and Establishments League 2007

Al Zayani Investments Football Team Champion of Silver Square at the 2007 Companies and Establishments League, after having own the three matches in the silver square games. In the first match the team was able to beat the Electricity team 3-1 as well as in the second game beat Gramco team 2-0 and in the tired match beat Works and Housing team 3-1.

Al Zayani Investments team qualified to the Silver Square after having lost the chance of qualifying for the final in the Golden Square by a goal difference with Bapco team. Al Zayani Investments team played five qualifying matches which started with beating Gramco team 2-1 and in the second match it was able to beat GPIC team with the same score. In the third match Al zayani team beats Banagas team with big score 6-1. However, in the fourth match Al Zayani team drew against Bapco team 1-1 in the dying minutes of the match. Finally Al Zayani team lost the fifth match against the title holder Al Moayyed team 3-0.
