Alzayani Investments Group organized its annual “Ramadan Ghabgha” gathering for staff members and their families, which held on Saturday, 29th August at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain.

The Ghabgha that was attended by 500 individuals, including board members and top management, was inaugurated with a speech from the Group Managing Director Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani who wished them Ramadan Kareem and expressed his thanks and appreciation to all staff for their efforts, confirming that the Company is seeking to develop and motivate every staff member. Subsequently, the Chairman Mr. Khalid R. Alzayani announced his retirement effective from 1st September 2009 and introduced Mr. Hamid R. Alzayani as the incoming Chairman. He cited the main reason for the decision was in line with the Company’s charter that encourage giving opportunities for fresh blood.

Both Mr. Khalid R. Alzayani and Mr. Hamid R. Alzayani were wished the best of luck and success in their new duties.

On the other hand, Mr. Zayed Rashid Al Zayani was appointed as Vice-Chairman of Alzayani Group after serving for around 16 years in the group as the Group Managing Director. He was placed by Mr. Nawaf Khalid Al Zayani after he was Acting General Director of the Group. Mr. Abdulrahman Hamid Al Zayani was promoted to fill the post of Mr. Nawaf Khalid Zayed Al Zayani.
