Zayani Motors, the exclusive dealers of Mitsubishi and Peugeot in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has kicked off efforts to create awareness in the Kingdom about breast cancer. The company’s employees will sport pink ribbons to express their solidarity and support to Breast Cancer Awareness throughout October.
The Bahrain Cancer Society states that Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among women, accounting for nearly one in every three cancers diagnosed. All women are at risk of getting breast cancer. As age increases, the risk increases. 2/3 of breast cancer happens in women 40 years of age and older. Men are generally at low risk of developing breast cancer.
The Zayani Motors Think Pink campaign is to support Breast Cancer Awareness and its aim to inform and educate its staff about the disease. Information regarding the same was distributed to the staff so that it could be shared with others.
Zayani Motors - General Manager, Mohamed Zaki speaking on the occasion thanked the staff for their participation in the campaign, “It makes me proud to see all Zayani Motors employees donning the pink ribbon which symbolizes not just the company’s support but also their own personal dedication to spreading awareness of this disease.”
Mr. Zaki further encouraged them all to actively support in creating awareness of the disease and how it can be addressed by saying, “Let’s work to ensure that we speak to others outside of our work and inform them too.”
