Euro Motors Donates to Local Charities

Euro Motors  made donations to the Bahrain Cancer Society and the Shifa Fund.  At a special handover ceremony held on April 24th, 2007, Zayed R. Al Zayani, Managing Director, Euro Motors handed over the donations to charity representatives.

The money for the donations was raised at a charity auction held during the opening of the new Ferrari, Maserati showroom in Sitra which was attended by F1 stars Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa as well as Ferrari CEO Jean Todt.

Mr. Al Zayani handed over a cheque for US$ 7500 to Ms. Deya Al Banna, representative, Bahrain Cancer Society. The money will go towards the children’s cancer support group.

Mr. Al Zayani handed over a cheque for US$ 22,500 to Mr. Nasser S. Ali. Al Hashimi, Assistant Marketing Manager, Bahrain Specialist Hospital. The money will go towards the Shifa Fund of the Bahrain Specialist Hospital which raises funds to provide free medical treatment to under privileged patients. 

“It is important for Euro Motors to give back to the community it serves. It is vital for companies to provide support and recognition to local charities and this donation is a reflection of our commitment to the Bahraini community at large,” said Zayed R. Al Zayani, Managing Director, Euro Motors.
