Muharraq Municipal Council member Ghazi Al Murbati stated that 60 families in Muharraq Governorate have benefited with rainproof roofing fixed on their homes with support from Rashid AlZayani Mabara. He highlighted that the fixtures were installed between November 2015 and January 2016, adding that the Mabara is handling several social projects extended to needy families who meet the certain criteria. “Mabara was launched with the spirit of collaboration and solidarity that are stemmed from the Islamic religion and aimed to spread peace and love among the Muslim community,” Mr. Al Murbati said. “Mabara has rendered the concept of mutual affection and compassion among Muslims through its projects carried out in the Kingdom, especially the renovation project of the old houses, which was launched in the beginning of the new millennium under the instructions of His Majesty the King may God protect him and was supported by the government. ” Mr. Al Murbati affirmed that the efforts of the Mabara weren’t limited to renovating old houses and fixing rainproof roofing or building mosques and car parking, but also reached a new height at the capacity of setting up a new sustainable strategy in order to lift up the living level of some families via supporting the students in their academic journey in order to help them secure good jobs that will help them and their families to overcome obstacles faced in life.
